Tourneau: Event Recap

On December 1st, 2016, G-SHOCK, Tourneau and Men's Health came together to celebrate first responders. Held at Tourneau TimeMachine in New York City, the event marked the mid-point of the MASTER of G watch exhibition which runs from Nov 1st thru Dec 31st.

After speeches from Tourneau's CEO, Ira Melnitsky and Casio America's VP of Timepiece, David Johnson, it was onto the first responders. Speakers included aerial delivered firefighter, Jason Ramos, US C-SOG Captain, Joseph Garcia and NYPD officer, Mike Counihan; who put their lives on the line every day and put their equipment to the test. Additional guests included the winners of Men's Health Ultimate Guy 2015 & 2016, Tim Boniface and Jedidiah Ballard, both first responders in their own right. One a firefighter and the other an ER physician.

Those in attendance not only had the opportunity to check out the watch exhibit, see the tough test demonstration and meet real users of the G-SHOCK brand; it gave everyone a chance to give back. A portion of proceeds from watch sales that evening and throughout the weekend, were donated to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation who's mission it is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen SIller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. Tunnel to Towers also honors our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
